Speaking from the Heart

Authentic self-expression can be felt; and mastering it is a desirable and valuable asset.  When individuals in a group engage with positive intentions, they have the opportunity to allow and invite speaking from the heart.

In my book, Soul Talk With Cells, I describe how participation in a community offers opportunities to become aware of new perspectives that otherwise may not come to mind. Personal choice about this participation is important, and choosing to be open to the flow of life can include a broad range of engaged beings and elements that influence the heart of our lives; examples are not only the plants, animals, and humans, but also the air, the water, and the land, and all that grows because of them.

It is critical that group discussion members appreciate the inherent value of the lives of each of the stake holders; and if the focus of the group affects the soil, animals, trees, etc, those are very much alive members (although silent).  As we all know, life is an inter-related experience; and our awareness of the unique part each player plays in our lives is essential to the whole of it; and conscious recognition of this interdependence urges acknowledgment of our oneness and individual uniqueness at the same time.

Communication in all of this is vital; and using words, pictures, body language, etc to convey messages familiar enough to resonate and be understood takes attention; and for the mutual benefit of everyone, shared awareness of the desires and values of others allows a group to openly and collectively navigate through the challenges of co-creating in a positive way together.

It is in the relationships of community that energies are exchanged that fuel our lives; and in my experience, it is where enlightening discoveries and epiphany moments occur as part of the flow, and unexpected benefits arise.  Indeed, it is in community that we learn from each other and come to know ourselves and others better; and it is here that we develop a trust for our ability to self-express authentically and value speaking from the heart.
